Dan The Van

Me and my big mouth. Yesterday I casually mentioned, just once, that it was looking quite summery outside and what happens? It rains for the next 24 hours. Typical!

Here's your chance to donate to a good cause. Blakfish are one of the hardest working UK touring bands I know but last week their beloved van, Sir Tobias, blew up! Check out the video below to see the extent of the damges. When I said blew up I wasn't kidding. The band now find themselves in fairly deep financial peril, with the insurance set to pay out half of what the thing cost them, at best, and are asking for any kind souls to possibly donate any loose change they may have to help them with buying a new one so they can get back out there and continue wowing the masses. Take your good nature over to www.myspace.com/blakfish

Rival Schools have reformed and are touring the UK in June! This, obviously, is superb news.

A band called Pavilion are playing Club Fandango at the Dublin Castle in London tonight. If you're sick of this rubbish weather and are in need of an injection of summer joy of the Weezer variety, be there for 10.30pm. That's after the football finishes, don't worry.
